Who We Are
The La Vista Community Foundation was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to serve the community of La Vista by promoting and facilitating philanthropy through networking and the giving of grants. For over twenty years, we have been leaders of funding for the purpose of community betterment as we fulfill our mission, which is to improve the quality of life where people live, work and play in La Vista.
What We Do
The La Vista Community Foundation has awarded Grants for more than fifteen years to area non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organizations to improve the quality of life in our city. Since 2020, we’ve awarded more than $175,000 in grants to causes ranging from public safety, education, STEM, women's services, community beautification, mental health, veteran's services and more.
We also host an annual golf tournament and one of the largest veterans dinner’s in the Omaha Metro Area.
